The Certificate IV in School Based Education Support is a mid-level course that will support a rewarding career working as a teacher aide at a school. This qualification reflects the role of workers in a range of education settings, including public and independent schools and community education settings, who support teachers and students.

    Pathways to further study

    On completion of CHC40221 Certificate IV in School Based Education Support, students can further their study opportunities and may receive some direct credits towards the Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or enrol elsewhere for a Diploma of Teacher Education (which gives direct entry to year two of the Bachelor of Education) or Diploma of Teacher Education Preparation.
