Building a pathway to a brighter future

Rania’s journey from Syria to Australia nearly four years ago was driven by big dreams for her family's future. As a mother of three, she recognised the importance of mastering English in this new chapter of her life.

Introduced to our Learn Local pre-accredited ACFE training programs by a friend, Rania saw an opportunity to strengthen her English and communication skills. She knew that learning English and improving her digital literacy was essential not only to support her children, but also for accessing opportunities for further studies and employment for herself.

Entering the Learn Local program marked a significant phase for Rania. The supportive environment, coupled with an encouraging teacher, helped her build her confidence in herself. She’s now set her sights on enrolling in our Certificate III School Based Education Support course, seeing it as a stepping stone towards her aspirations for further studies and securing a good job.

For Rania, this journey wasn’t just about language; it was about empowerment and self-belief. With each step forward, she’s unlocking doors to a brighter future, where language is no longer a barrier but a bridge to achieving her goals.

"When I was beginning this course, I was not confident like now in myself.”
