Farah's Story

2 MIN READ / July 05, 2022

I came here in 2018 from Pakistan with a double masters, numerous diplomas and a Montessori qualification from the UK under my belt. I also had 21 years of management experience being a principal, teacher, trainer and school inspector. When I realised that my qualifications were not recognised in Australia, it was a blow to my career, experience and confidence.

Then I joined VICSEG and started doing Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. I had an amazing teacher and lovely classmates. After I completed the course, I enrolled into the Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. During my studies, I found a very good job as an educational leader and a Montessori mentor in a long daycare Montessori service.

I give all credit to the amazing team of VICSEG - I also earned the student of the year award.

I built a strong trusting relationship with the organisation and so I started my third course, the Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management as well as my refresher in first aid.

The study material, the assessment style and all teachers are very cooperative, experienced and helpful.

Choosing to study at VICSEG was the best decision after arriving in Australia. The organisation is affordable and does an amazing job providing state-of-the-art studies in a variety of fields and subjects and making immigrants feel adjusted to a new society and entering into the workforce easily.

VICSEG is one of the best institutes in Melbourne and I hope to continue my learning with VICSEG for years to come. The love of learning ignited in me.
